It is coming to the end of my first full year on a foil, from starting the year in Portugal with a large group of other British windsurfers through to staying in our homes not windsurfing in April through to the summer spent on the south coast, making up for the hours lost during the national lock down. I then started my second year at university with online learning, I got accepted onto the Under 21 training squad and i also then got put onto the Talented Athlete Scholarship Scheme (TASS) to help with a dual career of education and competitive sport.
My windsurfing skills have improved dramatically through this challenging year and i look forward to what 2021 will surprise us all with.
