I’ve just returned from an amazing couple of months out in Vilamoura, Portugal with the British Sailing Team. The weather was perfect and the conditions on the water for foiling were glamour! I have lived and trained with other windsurfers for the past 7 weeks and the non stop training has been such a fantastic experience. This has enabled me to develop my skills both on the water with technique and sailing ability but also off the water with kit preparation and learning to look after myself with nutrition and organisation during this full time training.
I have missed a fair bit of the second term at university, however thanks to the Solent sport scholarship and high performance academy (@solentsporthpa on insta) I am able to combine both walks of life which I am very thankful for.
