For windsurfing in the following olympic games after 2020 it was decided in November 2019 that it will now be with new equipment. Quite a substantial change now means we fly above the water not just sailing on it. Wind foil is the name and IQFoil is the olympic setup that will be raced in Marseille for the Paris 2024 olympics in four years time. Having only foiled for one afternoon in my life before this is a huge change but one i am willing to tackle with all my ability and hopefully develop the skills needed to sail this new kit.
