As part of the British Youth Squad, during February half term I headed out to Palma bay, in Mallorca for a 9 day training camp. This was held in Mallorca to help us get venue experience ahead of the European championships that are going to be held here in April. For the majority of the week we had light winds, around 10 knots so we had lots of time on the water to get the techniques perfected before the racing season really begins, mid March. On the final day the wind was stronger and this was very welcome after a hard week of pumping. The camp was a great experience, the social side was really fun and I made huge gains with my sailing ability.
