The ultimate achievement for a young windsurfer must be to represent their country. In 2018 the YOG were held in Argentina with two representatives from the UK attending. The first medal for TeamGB was a bronze in Techno293+ for Finn Hawkins from Cornwall. Our female representative, Islay Watson, winner of the ISAF World Championships in Texas earlier in the year, took 11th place at the Youth Olympics. Both of these amazing young athletes began their careers at RYA T15 events.
