This is a one design (OD) class of windsurf board, manufactured by BIC in Vannes, France. Designed to be used in a wide variety of winds, the board is stable, easy to rig and quite forgiving of mistakes by inexperienced sailors. The sail size can be altered to suit conditions / sailor ability and development. The smallest sail is a 3.5sq. mtr with staged increases to 7.8sq. mtr. This board is also used in the Youth Olympics Games with a 8.5 mtr. sail plus some other modifications to the standard equipment .
