My introduction to watersports was through ‘Minisplash’ during junior school holidays at Hollingworth Lake, Rochdale. Family holidays overseas offered much more pleasant locations to develop my windsurfing skills, with warmer water and sunshine. Visits to PGL in France, a trip to a fantastic Greek Island, Milos for a weeks sea kayaking adventure to develop my water confidence. I can thoroughly recommend Dahab on the Sinai in Egypt – this as a fantastic place to develop your windsurfing skills.
